i think whoever did the program for full tilt needs a basic math course because 80% does NOT equal 50%.....unless you are an 80% favorite to win.

Gotta love it huh mother. Last night in 20sng had guy dominated my AA vs his KK. Of course it was busted. Its almost to the point Ill avoid as many pre flp allins as possible. Im laying down alot of JJ lately to allins. Its just not worth getting the screw. If i can afford it will call. But if gonna take me out maybe fold. Im trying to play hands out to control the outcome more. Its sad that thats what its come to. Just cant count on the odds to work as they should anymore. gl2u mother.

only a matter of time before i had to revive this thread

the cards have been treating me pretty well....until last night. horrible cards, several nasty beats but i managed to lose only $3 in 16 $11+1 sng's. i actually felt pretty good....bad night and i broke even.

tonight was worse....everything that could go wrong did. i'll admit i played a bit loose at first and after 11 games i was down $40. i was frustrated at getting crap and made moves with marginal hands.

the next 4 games though i played near perfect with precious few decent hands. crazy thing is the best hands were what killed me.

playing 4 turbo sng's at once i was all in only 6 times and had my opponent dominated every time. i did manage to win two of them...but all four that i lost were elimination hands.

the first hand was AJ vs KJ (74% to win) and naturally a K flopped.

a few minutes later i had KK vs QQ (81% to win) and the Q was the first card out.

i hung in there in my next game and was shortstacked when i called an all in with AK vs AQ (72% to win) and correctly predicted the Q on the flop.

in the 4th game i actually made the money ...but went out with AJ vs A3 (68% to win) i actually predicted his hand and the result before he even called

We are down to about 15 players out of 180, so we are in the money, and I am pretty short. I had just laid down an AT under the gun and let the blinds pass me, because I always get killed with AT. I probably should have pushed there. But I didn't and waited patiently for a couple of hands and then looked down at JJ, and felt a lot better about pushing in my last 4 bets. There was a raiser ahead of me, but I pushed anyway. The bb called me and the raiser called a few hundred more to see the flop. To my delight the flop was Jxx. The bb had KsQs, and the raiser had Ac8c. At that point I am a pretty solid favorite right? Wrong. Two running clubs and I am dead. The software kills the short stack. Let's be honest.
