Fox News calls Michelle Obama "Obama's Baby Mama"
Link to screen capture.
That's nice and respectful to a woman who is potentially the First Lady of the United States. Let's add this to Fox News' "Terrorist Fist Jab." I have to think that Fox News is just having us on at this point. No national news station can be this clueless, right? |

It's all about the context....I'll have to check it out. That said, seeing as how they are actually married I'd say it was at the very least inaccurate. IMO the terms "baby mama" and "baby daddy" are reserved for unmarried couples with children.
as for the "terrorist fist jab" comment...that was used in a tease for a news show. an obvious attention getter. of far more importance is how the subject was treated on the show itself. did they use bad judgment??? yes. and it won't be the last time we see it on television especially when it comes to a hype for ratings. fair game to make fun of the promo?? yes again....but your clip showed nothing of the actual discussion on the show that was being promoted. responsible journalism would have included that as well... |

Here's another data point for you - E.D. Hill, the author of the "terrorist fist jab" comment loses her show. It doesn't specify that her comment cost her her show, but the timing is suspcicious.
And for the record, I'm not a responsible journalist. I don't even play one on the internet. I'm just someone who likes to discuss interesting current events (ideally with as few kneejerk assumptions and reactions as possible). |

Oops. Yes, I agree - it is very important to give context when discussing things other people have said.

Once again news that is not really news. Then again why talk about real issues on MSNBC. Who gives a rats... anyway the so called "fist bump" is so lame.

maybe if they did some work on oil prices and committee votes stopping offshore drilling - you know, mportant stuff - their ratings would improve. but yea, bashing the opposition was probably more fun. |

![]() I actually think this is real news; it tips the hand of what neo-cons are thinking. In my opinion, what they're thinking is "AHHHHHH!!! WE'RE SCARED!!!!111!!!! Black man and woman in the White House! Must not happen!" Resorting to the petty shit that they are doing now seems kind of desperate to me. |
