Still, Americans’ response to rising gasoline prices makes an excellent case for a gas tax. It proves that drivers will change their behavior in response to high fuel prices.

Looks like the New York Times editorial board is in favor of high gas prices, especially if the money goes to the government.

Oh, and as a sidenote...I paid $4.57 a gallon yesterday for regular. 35 gallon tank on my work van...the damage??? $151.50

If oil was going for $140 a barrel then I'm guessing it would have.

Odd that oil prices have skyrocketed since the dems who oppose drilling got control of both houses.
