Call me a bleeding heart, but there is more than ONE child affected here. There's a little baby that will grow up in this SHADOW. Totally innocent, yet faced with a life of uncertainty and unwanted publicity. Most certainly the financial needs of the child will be met.......but there's more than that to a fullfilling life. My heart goes out to all the children hurt by Edwards' selfishness and insensitivity.
The first thing my high school journalism teacher said to us was, "people and names ARE the news." This story definitely involves some big names and last I checked, children are people. Sounds like news to me.
