I would reconsider being a student of psychology!
You don't seem to have the chops for it!

The last time I checked, I don't think I take bush league opinions
about myself very seriously. There are the 'aware' here and the 'unaware.' Plain and simple!!

Why... because you say so? FYI to study psychology, you don't need the "chops" for it! and do not make any presumptions on my capabilities of studying psychology. I am just about to finish my 4th year and my results have been above 70%, most of which have doubled the pass mark.

I don't respect women just on the basis of how successful they are in politics; I also need to respect what they stand for, and I neither respect nor agree with what Sarah Palin stands for.

I have never, nor asked any one to respect what someone stands for, or believes in. You can respect the person, and disagree with their politicts. Look at what McCain has gone through, in his early years. McCain has risen above what would have destroyed most men, and is a true hero. bash, trash, belittle what the man stands for but think long and hard before you make a personal attack against McCain, Palin, or their familys. If Sarah Palin actually gets elected as VP, I will officially lose all faith and patience in the American political process. I used to be a lot more involved with the DNC in college and did the whole Young Democrats thing. I stopped getting so involved after the 2000 election when I realized that the Democratic Party wasn't really much better about being controlled by special interest groups and single-issue voters than the GOP. Of course, I agreed with the positions more often than not, but I really couldn't find the motivation to actively volunteer my time.
If Palin gets elected, I probably stop voting all together. I just can't sit here and watch a woman with ridiculously weak qualifications and who wasn't even smart enough to earn a graduate degree (after needing 3 transfers to finish undergrad, mind you to finally bail out to the University of Fucking Idaho... how smart can she BE?) get propped up into the Vice Presidency by self-serving interest groups that can't possibly think that she's right for the role. She is just an empty shirt with the perfect image that will agree to cater to their every interest and nothing more. Her acceptance speech was filled with half-truths and outright lies, but nobody in the room gave a crap since they knew that she was the golden goose. They cared more about their selfish, single-issue interest than actually putting up a candidate that could be considered respectable in the vaguest respect. She was a mediocre mayor of a one-traffic light low-class dump, and a corrupt governor that did nothing other than further her own career and personal preferences without regard to anything pertaining to her state. I've already lost a lot of passion for my interest in government, and her election will be the final insult that will make me walk away. The sad part is that there are a lot more Sarah Palins than Hillary Clintons in this country, and Sarah would crush her in a popular vote. The country is spiraling into an economic nightmare and people would seemingly rather amuse themselves with the pleasant distraction of a public figure with whom they can identify and elect someone that can actually address the issue.

Also, I respect greatly what McCain has been through for the sake of his country. I in no way believe that any of what he inexperienced better prepares him to be President. How is being a POW going to make him more effective at creating American jobs or shrinking our national debt?
