Its an Obama Nation

My bookie tells me its in the bag so I can now look forward to seeing all the Lefties justify an expanded War, torture and wire tapping and Doug Nicci and Mrs Wrestler will be free to slag off the Mother Government.

Apart from that what other ch ch ch changes do you think will happen??

since this was not included in motherfunky's poll options.....

Stocks fall as investors ponder Obama presidency

Quote:
NEW YORK (AP) -- A case of post-election nerves sent stocks lower Wednesday as investors worried about recession began questioning what impact a Barack Obama presidency will have on business and the overall economy. The Dow Jones industrials dropped more than 300 points and the major indexes all fell more than 3 percent.

Eh. The Dow was up 500+ in the last two days based on absolutely nothing other than the polls. The fact that the markets fell only 300 today is actually a decent vote of confidence by the markets. For a Democrat, that's pretty rare.

As soon as the polls showed Obama up by so much so late, it became a classic case of 'buy the rumor, sell the news'.

I think I can hold my own

As for my comments, it is nothing against Obama, even though I find him borish and having the personality of a robot. And I would be saying the same thing had McCain won. But we see this every single election - promises, crafty marketing scheme slogans, and nothing changes. In fact, it has gotten progressively worse every 4 years. I just wonder if everyone would actually buy into this "change," "hope," etc. crap if he weren't black...

NEW YORK, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Wall Street hardly delivered a
rousing welcome to President-elect Barack Obama on Wednesday,
dropping by the largest margin on record for a day following a U.S.
presidential contest.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence. Nothing to worry about.

In the big picture, 1 day is insignificant, but one thing we do know is that the market did not react to the election results with raging optimism.
