The poll asked 12 questions. The results were quite interesting. I will share the results later today, for now the 12 questions. (all multiple choice)

Trick question Tina Fey actually said that. Palin said that Russia could be seen from Alaska, not her house. The poll however gave those saying Palin credit for a correct answer.

OK, here is the punchline on this poll.

Remember how few people got 11/12 or all 12 questions correct.

Zogby America National Poll of Barack Obama Voters 11/13/08 thru 11/15/08

The poll consisted of 512 people who voted for Obama.

Only 42.6% of them knew that the Democrats had control of congress....but over 80% of them knew the dirt on Sarah Palin and John McCain.

On Election day twelve Obama voters were interviewed extensively right after they voted to learn how the news media impacted their knowledge of what occurred during the campaign. These voters were chosen for their apparent intelligence/verbal abilities and willingness to express their opinions to a large audience.

Because obviously interviewing a relative handful of Obama voters, while interesting, is hardly scientific proof of anything, we also commissioned a Zogby telephone poll which asked the very same questions (as well as a few others) with similarly amazing results.

i don't know if i should laugh or cry. i find it very troublesome that so many who were tuned in enough to get the dirt on palin were so clueless about obama and the current political structure.

gotta give obama credit for understanding his target audience
