It looks like McCain has catapulted into the lead here 5-4.

I believe it was Dave Mustaine (OK, I KNOW it was...) who said...

"If there's a new way.... I'll be the first in line.... But it better work this time!!!"

I'll be voting Libertarian (pro-choice... on EVERYTHING!!!) ... again...

and again waiting for the rest of the country to catch up...

If the country was not, how do you then explain how he clinched the Democratic nomination? Do you think it was just on minority voting alone?

I don't care for what may be his policies and I sure don't want to vote in what may be the most liberal lefty of all time.

Right, Left, Liberal, Conservative, Republican, Democrat...

They're all the same. They're all backroom buddies being paid by special interest groups, all making every grasp for power they can, while doing everything they can to circumvent the original constitutionally guaranteed rights of the citizenry. The only difference is which big money contributor they'll sell their soul, and our collective asses to, while pushing their own personal and religious agendas.

(and eight years ago I was a card carrying republican believe it or not)

Oh I agree. I just believe the Dems are worse than the Republicans. No matter, neither one will get my vote this November.

So they would have you believing...

If not then why are they so against having other parties? Me thinks as to not have to share in their fleecing of the country.

Rob, they are more alike than different.

And if you think the U.S. is still in a conservative cycle, how do you explain the last two congressional elections where the Republicans lost more seats than I can count?? Also explain how the most liberal candidate from both parties won the nomination.

I'll be casting my vote for the libertarian candidate as well. No reason not to, the dems could run a serial killer in california and win by 15%

And for the record, let's completely toss out this whole idea of "Is America ready for a black president?"

Let's get something clear. "Black" ain't the color of a person's skin... If you really need to ask the question it SHOULD be "Is America ready for an African American president?"..

Hell, I'm "blacker then Barack" (incidentally, I copyrighted that phrase ... don't get any ideas)

When I see him at Freaknik, Playa's Ball, or Orange Crush, (and yours truly will be at all three) then he's black... Until then... As far as I'm concerned, he's just a really tan John Edwards with that clipped little prep school accent of his... and the idea of race shouldn't even be brought into it...

(That being said... we won't even get INTO the blend of redneck, cracker, and what can ONLY be described as Dr. Phil-isms that constitutes the dialect of our current President...I'd hate to sound even the least bit biased twords EITHER of these groups of jackyles)
