*pinches Ark angel*

Anyway, I'm picking up your sarcasm. If we invaded Iraq for oil, wouldnt you think the price of gas might have, perhaps, dropped? Or is that an unimportant factor?

We're not gonna see eye to eye on this, and I dont really mind, we can agree to disagree. I would just like you to agree that this thread is operating off a biased point of veiw.

If we dont have this out we will never see eye to eye and this thread wont be bias if you keep posting, so keep up the good work.

Nothing would make me happier than proof the wars in the middle east are for the good of the people.

Ill answer your last questions if you answer mine

So you want to know about the price of oil and why it hasnt gone down, the theory that the benifits of gaining control of this energy would naturally be passed onto the great unwashed is in my humble opinion misconcieved.

It is well know Saddam wasnt dealing with the US or Britain and that he had got too big for his boots. He was selling oil to the Russians and French FFS he even wanted Oil to be traded in Euros.

Now I expect you have heard of OPEC, the illegal Oil cartel that fixes prices and restricts production, thats not operated for the good of you and me. Its operated to maximise profits.

For years before the Invasion Saddam was "over producing" forcing the price down, his biggest weapon/threat was to ramp production up even more.

Oh no the illegal Oil cartel cant have that eh, not in a fixed market, the majority Sunni (as was Saddam) Saudis were fuming at his exploits.

After the Invasion the taps were turned off, control of the Oil is back in the hands of Opec, hence the higher prices you cite. The war isnt about giving the Oil to US taxpayers, its about controling the Oil for profit.

Now for my question, if like you say the war has nothing to do with Oil why are we building permanent military bases and why are we still occupying a "democratic" state, dont we trust democracy?

I'll have to answer your question with another question. Dont we have military bases in the majority of our "allied" contries? Dont we still have military bases in contries that we once had to defeat, like Germany or Japan?

TREASON

This is absolutely incredible, Cheney has a meeting about how to dupe the public into backing war with Iran, they talk about how they can stage an event that will facilitate an attack.

See more says NYM "couldn't run the story because it wasnt accepted"?

One trick pony and VP Cheney is conspiring with the brass, they discuss the merits of the oft used false flag tactic killing Americans (not decades ago/ months ago) and its not all over the CFR controlled news?

Does see more expect anyone to believe his mag could run the story if or when anything like this is accepted??
