I wasn't aware there were that many cows in Antarctica. I think we should also lay direct blame on the hair metal fad of the late 80's. The shit that was expelled into the by aerosol cans is a crime compared to the benefits we reaped.

Are we drifting into a discussion of the ozone layer here??? If so just thought this might be interesting...it isn't aerosol cans or cow farts that are causing ozone depletion.

Though my Post was Toungue in Cheek, the blame does fall on the cows. Depending on what circle get the press for the week. Below is a cut along with some news sites. The depletion of the Ozone Layer is the main cause of Global Warming. The Ozone layer filters out all the bad stuff. bad stuff = Global Warming.

I think listening to Al Gore is your first mistake

I voted natural cycles and the sun, even though man-mad emissions aren't helping the cause. Maybe it's speeding the process up ever so slightly, but lets face it, it was going to happen with or without our help. They do teach in school (college meteorology I might add) that holes in the Ozone have a direct factor in global warming. We just aren't sure of the exact effects as of this point. We have some data and educated guesses, but we haven't driften that far into "bad" yet for that to be determined.

The north pole is melting! I wonder if thats happened in past warming trends? I say very doubtful!! Nicci how can you say this was going to happen anyway? In the past we had volcano's pouring CO2 into the air. Now its us.

Shay you say all the data is propaganda from the left. So your saying NASA is in the pockets of the left wing?

The Earth is going to do what its going to do, with or without our help. We may speed things up, but its only making the inevitable happen faster. I can go copy and scan my textbook for you if you want. It's just as good a reliable source as the media and Al Gore
