Sen. Chris Dodd, chair of the Senate banking committee, has racked up the most from AIG, with a total of $281,400, while Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), a member of both the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee and the Senate Finance Committee, takes second with $116,400. Presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama collected $103,000 and $82,600 from AIG, respectively.

The key here is from PAC and Individuals

Obama got 6000 dollars from FANNIE and FREDDIE and 120,349 from individual employees.

McCain who doesn't support the Union or FANNIE and FREDDIE got zero from the PAC and 21,550 from individuals.

Where Obama got 6000 in PAC, Utah's Bennett "R" got $71,499 from PAC and $36,500 individual.

I always find it interesting to read between the lines and the lines. the claim is the democrats received 57% of the contributions but not he bulk of the PAC money ..

Bennett, Bachus and Blunt all republicans received over 70,000 each from PAC money.
