Well done America for choosing the right candidate. From what I have read, heard and seen, the world wanted Obama to win.

WTF did you see, or hear that would take any thing from the Mccain supporters that would even remotely show no class. I have never seen more class from any group of supporters. need some examples.

on the video link you posted, listen to it again, and maybe again. I could hear nothing but respect, diginity, and a major amount of class. Mccain several times pointed out, and spoke highly of Obama. what did the crowd do?....clapped, cheered, I felt saddness, then Pride when Mccain first give that speech, I felt the pride of the supporters.

Never have I seen more class then I seen tonight.

I'll ask you where did you see a lack of class, I may be a bit dumb, but stupid I'm far from

erm I think you need to watch the video again. When McCain mentions Obama's name in the beginning of the video... the crowd booed to which McCain held his hands out and said "please" suggesting the crowd stop booing.

People here are free to have their opinions. We don't need you to

Instigator!!!

A lashing out is justified when people do not reflect before they post.

Word it with respect...you get respect. Word it without...get the fookin' horns.

Oh btw ---ty ----re: --->
Congratulations to you President-elect Barack Obama. I sincerely hope that your vision of the future brings strength and prosperity to America.
whoaaaaaaaaaaa... now YOU hold on a second there Bucko!

you have the audacity to state, "People here are free to have their opinions" then tell Doug to STFU when he expresses his? what is this Animal Farm where all animals are created equal but some are created more equal then others?

get consistent my brother. if you, Frank, and others who happen to agree with your views are free to voice opinions, especially negative ones about McCain, Palin, the US Military, and Conservatives in general, then you better be damn ready and willing to hear back.

based on what i've read here i think GiGi and Doug are right on the money. i believe a McCain victory would have brought this forum to an all time low (which is saying something considering most of the blather posted already from both sides) and it would have been lead from the left. deny it, dispute it, contradict it, flame it, do what you want to do but you know i am not far off the mark in my assessment.

once again i find it ironic that lashing out is justified when you are the lasher and not the lashee.

now please stop this insanity so i can return to the Poker Forum and stay out of this God forsaken Pit.

thank you and have a good day.

The Dem's also have control of the House, and the Senate.

The Citizens of this great nation have voted, and with that this is what we now have. I shouldn't hear any more hate, or fingers pointed. This may be a bit a nice breath of fresh air.

Breath in......hold.........exhale......

Now dont you feel so much better?
Mmmmmmmmmmmark baby, now we can all get climb out of the pit and talk incessantly about sex like we used to when I first joined LP.

Look....you want to diminish everything here as blather, moans and groans,
go ahead, but don't think for a moment you won't get a note
about it.

Your conjecture about what would happen if McCain had won is
dead wrong also.

I don't see what the fuss is about. People booed at the mention
of Obama's name at McCain's rally. FACT. The tradition in your
great country is that one supports the elected candidate once the
votes are in. FACT. Frank only pointed that out. He had every right.

No one has a right to come back and tell him that he would have acted worse.. as you and GiGi have.
You could have explained why you think
they reacted as they did. You could have protected their interests
in any way you desired.

So, please....people were impassioned about this campaign. Both
sides went through great lengths to support and debunk events
strategies and candidates. It got stoopid when people fell into the insult
trap, which lead to counter insults, or people said such outlandish
things that the response was very pointed.

So, you whoaaaaa, Bucko!

Think what you want. As I have said since day one here. Be civil...I'm civil...Act anything less...you get the howitzer.

You might not see it . If you don't...you don't!! That's the way it is!

i agree that we are both civil. that is why we can have an impassioned, philosophical debate between the two of us without slinging insults at one another and then go grab a cold beer afterwards and play cards. but Lucas you missed the main point of my post. how can you justify telling someone to STFU for voicing their opinion then two sentences later tell that same person that this forum is intended for people to voice their opinions. if i misread that i apologize but i do not think i did. take a breath and re-read your statement to Doug then tell me if i misinterpreted your words.

Ok Lucas, I rarely take you on because you have such a way with words and i can get chewed up and spit out. Frank couldn't have left it at a "nice speech" by McCain, he had to draw on the negative as well? He has been yammering for months now about the negative, WE GET IT, and we know how he thinks, he has told us time and time again. We aren't guessing about that. My comment to him was not derogitory it merely pointed out the obvious in frustration. Am I not permitted to get frustrated? Was my point an untruth?

I truly have hope for the future of our country. I now will be happy to get my "little" ass out of the political snake pit where i am the happiest. I'm heading back to Navel Lint where the discussions are alot less volitile.
