I must admit I'm missing the part between protestants, catholics and Christian .... I thought both were Christians in fact!! Isn't it?

My Father is protestant, my mother is catholic ...

Paternal grandmother was a Jew* who married a Catholic: my father was raised a Catholic and he married a Protestant, I was brought up as Church of England Protestant.


I thought the Jewish ancestry was a little further back, I'm sure my father forgets what he tells me, either that or I wasn't listening . Quite funny really cos my Dad almost has THE nose .... but my grandmother (as far as I can tell from pics) didn't have.
