Ronald Reagan
Bush I
Bush II

Then there was Tricky Dick. A total light-weight compared to these three other clowns. "Butt" was after all the forerunner of the chimp threesome.

Um, yeah... dissolution of union leading to Civil War. I'm sticking with Buchanan. Buchanan was also the only unmarried president, so we can thus conclude that not getting v on a regular basis will cause presidents to break up the union.

Who said he wasn't? He might have had a parade of interns and whores cycling through the Oval office. Maybe his problem, as a bachelor, was that he was getting too much!

I am surprised that nobody mentioned Republican, Gerald Ford as one of the worst presidents. I seem to remember seeing him mentioned in lists before online.

Ford also inherited a complete mess and never even ran for the office. I guess he kind of draws a pass there. On the other hand, he did manage to lose an election to Jimmy Carter.

And.. the only President from Pennsylvania. His sister was the First Lady. WTF were these people thinking back then?

funny thing IMO, if people embrace Jimmy Carters energy conservation policy's 20 years ago, how would our country fair in the global community know. People are so quick to bash him. The problem was he was twenty year ahead of his time and I think in time history will be much kinder to his presidency, considering he was a lame duck without the house or the senate support. The dependency on foreign oil would have been diminish so much that they would not be controlling our foreign policy's and trying to bankrupt our economy, but this is just my opinion.

Exactly. Lambasting a guy who inherited the Vietnam hangover and an OPEC fistfuck is shortsighted. So he tried to bring peace to the Middle East and encouraged us to drive less and turn our thermostats down. Big deal. Next we'll be introduced to his communist mentor.

Oh, he tried to bring peace...yes trying is all that matters. All the good intentions in the world (and i don't doubt his intentions) count for nothing. His policies FAILED. He was a failure. The reason he was a failure, well it couldn't have been because he approached the problems in the wrong way...just like his attitude that if we (the U.S.) were somehow kinder and gentler with those who hate us, there would be peace. Living in fairytale land sounds good, even looks good on paper....but usually gets you nowhere.

Hell I blame Carter for the Sissification of America, where we can't keep score in kids sports and accomplishment makes you an bad person because, well because somebody had to lose along the way and the losers don't have as much as you do.

Still agree that Buchanan was worst though. Gonna be tough to beat his high score...
